I absolutely adore house sparrows, our garden is filled with them from spring to the beginning of autumn. They're noisy, full of character and are absolutely beautiful. They're one of my favourite birds to paint. There's always a handful of them outside my studio window tormenting my cat who watches on from the window, chattering at them.
