Georgina Kent is a Wales-based printmaker and artist. Her passion is for nature and capturing it’s endless beauty. She’s inspired by what’s all around her, whether that’s the house sparrows out of her studio window, or the moka pot for her morning coffee.
Her art journey
Georgina began drawing at the age of two by drawing a picture of an upright hoover. The passion was ignited and never left. She went on to study Art & Design at college (Intermediate & Advanced GNVQ) and then Graphic Communication at University. Most of her adult life she’s worked in insurance and marketing, but during the 2020 lockdowns opportunity knocked and Georgina decided to follow her dreams of being a full time artist.
Commissions
As well as creating her own artwork, Georgina is also available for commissions, please email Georgina at hello@georginadoodles.com or message her via her Facebook page to discuss.
Packaging
While on this journey, Georgina tries to be as sustainable as possible with her packaging. Generally, the only time plastic is used in packaging is to protect original artwork in transit to protect it from the rain, as it’s irreplaceable. Other items are shipped wrapped in tissue paper and occasionally glassine bags (which are compostable). Individual cards are also in home compostable cello bags (made from EN13432 compostable PLA).
